Wooden Thumb Ring

A wooden thumb ring for archery is a small, smooth ring carved from wood, shaped to fit snugly around the archer's thumb. It's designed to protect the thumb from the bowstring during release, providing a comfortable and consistent grip. It offers a simple yet effective solution for traditional archers seeking a natural feel and connection to their equipment.

Your thumb’s size will vary depending on seasons (Summer-Winter) and even on different times of day (Morning-Evening) or morning-evening, due to the blood flow retention and hydration in your body. For this reason, you should take your thumb measure during day time. It is recommended to have two thumbrings of different sizes, though close to each other, allowing for the swelling of your thumb.

Please take the thumbring size with a caliper as shown in the picture.

Traditional archery improves many aspects of your daily life. Archery is a good sport for physical health. Because our back and arm muscles develop in archery. You can walk 5-10 miles in a training session to collect arrows. Archery improves Patience and focus. By aiming your bow and arrow it helps your concentration and breathing and therefore for alot of people it is very therapeutic. Although archery is done in a hall, it is a sport that can be done outdoors in any area where it is safe to do so. You don't need to pay big money to start archery.
